19 Months in El Salvador!

We've had lots of progress on our project in the last couple months.  Landscaping has begun with beautiful plants, our fencing was delivered this week, and garden walls around the temple are almost finished.
The temple is preparing for granite. As soon as the tower is done the angel, Moroni, will go up.   There are amazing details every week completed inside. 
The ancillary apartments are projected to be finished by September so some of our subcontractors can stay in them and save us money.  I have been given the assignment of shopping for the apartments! How fun is that?
My sister, Karen, came to visit for 2 weeks in May. We took 3 days and went to Copan, Honduras to see the Mayan ruins. It was great. It was wonderful to have her.   I'm finally driving. I can't imagine why it took me so long. Oh wait, I can. It's like driving through a race track, the wrong way. Especially the round-a-bouts. No rules. The one in front wins. And the buses are bigger, so give the way to them because they'll just take it anyway!
June has flown by.   As of this date we have done 12 firesides in the country and have 4 stakes left.  It's been the best thing about our mission being able to travel and visit with the members about their temple.
The best about El Salvador? I love the rainy season. Not the hurricanes but the breeze and cool air! And the resturants. They've got great resturants!! The worst? Mosquitos and driving.
