Copan, Honduras Mayan ruins.

Copan ruins. The stairs tell a story about the rulers of the city.

Esquipulas, Guatemala. A famous church known for it's black Christ. On the way home from Copan we stopped here. It had a very festive atmosphere. We passed lots of decorated buses leaving this area. They come every weekend from El Salvador and Guatemala to attend this church. There was a very long line waiting to pass by the Christ. 

Guatmalan textiles! Can't pass by "bags" without buying!
