Taken from our local architect's home. The Temple is 1 inch to the right of the tall apartment building in the center of the photo. Look for the orange tower structure.

Bogota, Colombia

We spent 4 days in Bogota. Our primary reason for going was to see the granite being cut for our temple

This is the business Granites y Marmoles. The granite from Brazil and marble from Israel arrives in blocks and is being cut, polished, and carved here.

The Bogota Temple is beautiful. The altitude is very high in Bogota, nearly 9000 feet! We had trouble catching our breath! But we slept so good because it was cool. None of the buildings have air conditioning or heat!

A group of school kids that spotted us at the museum. They flocked around us asking us questions, who we were, where we were from. I think they thought we were "important" or something. The teacher even asked me how she could get into the USA to study?????
